Yasoa was born in Iraq but spent the majority of his childhood in Arizona, where he is now studying Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University. His multidisciplinary pursuit of creative outlets, including computer programming, woodworking, and musical orchestration, drove his current passion for the inventiveness involved in scientific research. He brings his mechanical experience working on guided electrophysiology tools at ASU as well as his wet lab experience in quantifying cardiac protein expression from a SURF program with the University of Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys producing digital music and plotting schemes with friends.
