Connor grew up in Minnesota. He obtained his Bachelor's in Ecology and Evolutionary biology from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He then worked with Dr. Sanku Mallik at North Dakota State University utilizing hypoxia responsive nanoparticles for the targeted delivery of drugs in triple negative breast cancer earning his PhD in Pharmaceutical Science. Connor's research interests consist of drug delivery, nanoparticles, and biomaterials. Outside of lab Connor enjoys weightlifting and reading.
