Aparna Krishnan, B.A.
GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT (GRA)
Aparna grew up in Scottsdale, AZ and conducted bioinformatics research on proteogenomics data under Dr. Patrick Pirrotte at the Translational Genomics Research Institute in Phoenix, AZ. She then earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology and Applied Statistics from Columbia University in 2024. At Columbia University Irving Medical Center, she leveraged network- and machine learning-based tools to study suppressive immune cells that are radioresistant under Dr. Andrea Califano, Dr. Catherine Spina, and Dr. Aleksandar Obradovic. Outside of the lab, Aparna enjoys dancing Bharatanatyam, playing basketball, exploring new places, and meeting new people.
